Actress Jacqueline Guzman fired over viral NYPD TikTok rant

The New York Police Department held a funeral this past Friday for 22-year-old detective Jason Rivera after he was killed in the line of duty while responding to a domestic disturbance call in Harlem. Another officer, Wilbert Mora, was also killed in the shootout. The suspect, Lashawn McNeil, was shot at the scene and also later died.

The streets surrounding St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown Manhattan were flooded with thousands of police officers who came to pay their respects to the fallen officer. This led actress Jacqueline Guzman to record a now-deleted TikTok video to her account “VinylBoobs” in which she reacted to the massive street closures.

In the video, Guzman can be seen walking down an empty street that has been barricaded off.

“We do not need to shut down most of lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly. They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason and we don’t shut down the city for them,” Guzman said in the 31-second video.

She added, “Like, this is f****** ridiculous. This is f****** ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f****** cop.”

The video quickly went viral and received heavy backlash online. Users were quick to identify Guzman as the woman in the video.

Face to Face Films, the independent film and theater production company Guzman belonged to, was quick to cut ties with Guzman. In a statement posted to Instagram, the company wrote, “Face to Face Films has just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman. Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera. As a result, she is no longer a member of our company.”

According to her biography on the Face to Face Films website, which has also been deleted, “Jacqueline Guzman is a Cuban American actress based in NYC, originally from Hialeah, Florida. Jacqueline discovered her passion for acting in high school when she was pressured by her friends to audition for Almost, Maine. This was a life-changing experience for her, she had found a place where she could be free, vulnerable, and creative.”

In an interview with The New York Post, New York City Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch said, “New Yorkers turned out by the thousands yesterday to help us honor our fallen brother. One person spreading hate cannot erase that. This kind of garbage has polluted the conversation for far too long. We need the New Yorkers who are standing with us to speak up and push back.”

A Brooklyn officer said the video was “totally disrespectful, not only to the NYPD but to all New York residents and all humans. If this is the only way she can get publicity, I feel very sorry for her.”

Guzman has deactivated her social media accounts and has yet to comment on the situation.

What’s the name of the Go Little Rockstar song on TikTok?

Image via TikTok

TikTok‘s popularity combined with its format means it is fertile ground for memes and trends. In fact, TikTok has spawned all sorts of memes, from the funny to the touching to the downright weird.

However, one of the most fascinating things about TikTok is its ability to add audio from inside the app to any video. This feature can often lead to out-of-context clips of songs going viral as users use them to convey specific statements or emotions. This means that some songs become extremely well-known despite people not being familiar with the complete track.

And the Go Little Rockstar trend is the perfect example of this.

What Is The Go Little Rockstar Trend?

Go Little Rockstar is one of the most wholesome and popular trends of recent months. In fact, the sound has been used in over 1.4 million TikTok videos.

The Go Little Rockstar trend sees people acknowledging good people, things, or events in their life. This can be anything from being proud of your children, being thankful to your parents, or praising your devoted pets. In fact, this trend is remarkably diverse, covering many different topics and emotions. But, no matter the subject, all of these videos end with the lyric “Go Little Rockstar.”

Where Does The Go Little Rockstar Song Come From?

The audio clip comes from a song by indie-pop duo SALES. Based in Orlando, Florida, the duo has released two albums since their formation in 2013. The famous viral clip comes from the duo’s self-released 2016 single “Pope is a Rockstar.”

However, there is a simple explanation for why many people don’t know the clip’s origin. It’s because most TikTok users are actually singing the wrong lyrics. As you can likely guess from the song’s title, the lyrics are not “Go Little Rockstar.” The singer is actually singing the phrase “Pope Is A Rockstar”.

In fact, the actual lyrics are:

Pope is a rockstar/ You take your clothes off/ Heading for the last fight/ Before our worlds part.

This misunderstanding has spawned several viral videos with many people trying to inform people of the correct lyrics.

Interestingly this isn’t the first time SALES, and their music has gone viral on TikTok. The band’s 2013 single “Renee” also gained notoriety when it became known as the “you got it” audio.

Their 2014 single “Chinese New Year” received similar treatment, becoming known as the “see you at the movies” song on TikTok. So it seems that the band really knows how to appeal to the tastes of TikTok’s userbase.

How to add and Switch Between Accounts on TikTok

Image via TikTok

TikTok is one of the world’s most popular social media websites, with the app being downloaded over 2 billion times as of 2020. However, sometimes one account may not be enough, especially for content creators who make distinctive forms of content or those who want to maintain separate work and personal profiles.

Thankfully, adding new accounts to TikTok and switching between your various accounts is extremely easy. Here is everything you need to know about using multiple TikTok accounts.

Switching Between TikTok Accounts

If you are already logged in to more than one TikTok account, you can simply jump between them without hassle. To do this, you’ll need to head to your profile page by clicking on the “Me” icon on the lower-right. Once you are on this page, click your display name at the top of the screen.

This will open up a dropdown menu. This menu will show all of the accounts you currently have logged in to TikTok. Simply tap the name you want to use to go right to it.

Adding A New TikTok Account

However, if you want to add a new TikTok account, you’ll have to go through a couple of extra steps. Once again, go to your profile page and click on the name at the top of the screen.

This will open the switch accounts dialogue. At the bottom of this menu is an option labelled “Add Account,” with a large plus sign next to it. Tapping on this option will open up a log-in window. This window will give you several options, including allowing you to make a new account using either your Twitter or Google log-ins.

If you already have a second account, scroll to the bottom of the window. You will find an “Already have an account? Log In” option. Click this option to be taken directly to a log-in screen. This screen will allow you to log into the other account using your email and password. You can also use other services to log into the account. These services include Facebook, Apple, Google, Twitter, and Instagram.

Click the one you wish to use and enter your username and password to log into the account. If you want to switch back to the other profile or add even more TikTok profiles. You can simply repeat this process. However, at the current time, TikTok only allows you to have a maximum of five accounts logged in at once.

What is the ‘I wish I had a time machine’ TikTok song?

There’s nothing like a TikTok sensation to give a song some new legs. Muni Long’s single, “Time Machine” was released in November of last year, but it’s getting a new surge of popularity on the video-sharing platform as users take advantage of the song’s wistful lyrics to imagine how much better life would be if they could go back in time and change things.

The track was written by Priscilla Renea aka Muni Long. Renea is no stranger to pop success. As a songwriter, she’s co-written some big hits including “California King Bed” by Rihanna, “Worth It” by Fifth Harmony, Kelly Clarkson’s “Love So Soft”, “Imagine” by Ariana Grande, and Pitbull’s “Timber” to name a few. Muni Long is the artist’s performance persona under which she has released several projects. “Time Machine” is a track off of her latest EP, Public Displays Of Affection.

Background music has been core to TikTok’s brand from the start and many of the platform’s breakout stars came to fame with choreographed dance routines to other artists’ work. More than occasionally, a song or lyrics will inspire a viral meme that sweeps the social networking service.

Users have been inserting Time Machine’s chorus into their videos as background music to reveal just why they would go back in time for – often to hilarious effect.

Topics vary from reliving anxiety-ridden moments of cringe to regrets about the one – or many even – that got away, to childhood moments and memories both precious and not so precious. Viewers and users are loving the trend, many of the videos are receiving thousands of likes. This seems like it will become as popular as several other musical trends, such as the Celine Dion Challenge, that have periodically grabbed the attention of users en masse. The hashtag currently has over 260 million views.

One of the more popular videos, by user Dr. Destini, shows a young woman over a sink performing several chores. The overlay text reads ” When you realize being ‘grown’ is a never-ending cycle of bills and cleaning the kitchen”. The caption reads, “Mom can you come pick me up?? 🥴 #timemachine #adultingishard

Another popular video comes from a surprising source – the singer herself. One of the videos to embrace the trend features the artist herself having a particularly bad accessory day, wishing she could go back and choose a different pair of earrings. Renea seems more than happy to ride the wave of popularity in the short-form medium. The singer-songwriter has also reposted several videos featuring her song to her own account, further bolstering their shares and likes.

Cop goes viral on TikTok for delivering food after arresting DoorDash driver

A police offer has gone viral on TikTok for doing some work on the side, delivering food that was meant to be handled by a DoorDash driver that was arrested before reaching their destination.

TikTok has become the go-to place to access hilarious, trendy, and emotional videos, scrolling through the ‘For You’ page, with the app’s algorithm recommending videos like ones you regularly enjoy.

Some of those videos are expected, while others thrown in will likely surprise you from time to time. Surprises add excitement to the mix, much like the surprise in the clip we’re sharing with you today.

In a recent viral video, a cop delivered DoorDash to a woman in an unlikely set of circumstances. As the officer rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer, he had a smile on his face. When a woman came to the door, he laughed as she peered out and saw him holding fast food instead of her expected DoorDash driver.

Likely a little alarmed, she opened the door and began laughing as the police officer told her that he had decided to finish the dash for the now-arrested driver to ensure that she got her meal.

The pair continue laughing as she accepts the food and thanks the officer for getting it to her. It’s a hilarious video but also a sweet reminder that sometimes going the extra mile for someone is the kind of thing that can make someone’s day.

What is CleanTok? Deep cleaning TikTok trend explained

CleanTok - TikTok trend

Photo via @aurikatariina/TikTok

We are coming to find that there are many corners to TikTok.

Horror fans can find a spooky and surreal home for themselves on HorrorTok, anime fans have plenty of family over on AnimeTok, and even witches can enjoy some like-minded content from their brethren on WitchTok.

TikTok has a place for any interest, including the odd and off-kilter ones. With all of its strangest and most bizzare corners considered, CleanTok — one of TikTok’s most popular ongoing trends — really doesn’t seem odd at all. It’s surprisingly comforting to watch a filthy space transform into something immaculate and scrubbed, and the creators in this unique TikTok arena are being thoroughly productive with their time. It’s nice to see.

Some people might find it immensely strange to enjoy watching another person clean, however, which is an entirely valid perspective. After all, if you want to see something tidied up, you probably have a mess of your own to tackle. You can easily live CleanTok in your everyday life, but isn’t that the joy of social media? To immerse ourselves in something, anything, just because we can?

Regardless of your precise thoughts on CleanTok, it is one of TikTok’s most popular and enduring trends. Videos on CleanTok take a lot of forms, from tidying simple messes to tackling utterly massive — and disgusting — projects.

There is a big ASMR draw to CleanTok as well, as creators silently scrub their way through whatever project they’ve chosen for the day. The sounds of cleaning solutions fizzing, lids twisting on, and brushes scraping along tile have become the tag’s official soundtrack, perfectly suited to the trend’s slightly obsessive but thoroughly satisfying vibe.

Some of the TikToks posted to the CleanTok tag are simple and straightforward, showing as people clean out their fridge or spiff up a workspace. They are appealing; pure, and uncomplicated in their presentation. Many are accompanied by music, while others lean into the trend’s ASMR ambiance.

Others are far more personal or heartfelt. People flock to watch user @headstonecleaner peruse graveyards for their filthiest headstones, only to leave them glistening and pristine in her wake.

People within specific cleaning professions also get to showcase their skills via the tag, providing an unexpected window into some very interesting jobs. It’s surprisingly fun to watch everyone from a pro cleaner to a pool boy showcase their skills.

Yep, those tiles are supposed to be blue.

You can also learn a lot from the videos posted to CleanTok. New solutions to your current grimy problem are sprinkled throughout videos posted with the tag, as are unique cleaning combos, stellar products, and pretty much anything else you can think of. You can even learn the best way to fold your clothes.

Or learn some useful new cleaning hacks.

There’s something for almost anyone on CleanTok, so long as you’re willing to plunge down the rabbit hole. Beware, however, this corner of TikTok is not for those with weak stomachs.

What happened to cosplay model Belle Delphine?

via Twitter @bunnydelphine

Whatever happened to Belle Delphine? She maintained internet sensation status for years after bursting onto the scene with help from her YouTube channel and other social media accounts. In recent months, however, she’s all but vanished, and many of her fans don’t know where she disappeared to. Here’s what to know about the life and career of Delphine, as well as what she’s up to today.

Who exactly is Belle Delphine?

Cosplay modeling was Delphine’s recipe for success. She enticed her followers with her innocent-looking faces and provocative costumes all at once. Her erotic poses and flirty persona prompted millions of people to swarm her accounts, starting all the way back in 2018. She used the influence of popular memes and trends in order to stay current with everything going on in the world.

The bathwater drama

Somewhere in the middle of 2019, Delphine created a satirical Pornhub account to troll her fans. She started selling what she called “gamer girl bathwater” through the online store. The bathwater was bottled up, labeled with a cute sticker, and allegedly created from water she actually lounged inside of. The national discussion about her gamer girl bathwater spread like wildfire, and soon after, Instagram deleted her entire account. They stated that her account was being removed due to community guideline violations. The fact that Instagram got rid of her profile caused fans to wonder if the deletion was connected to her gamer girl bathwater sales.

Is Belle Delphine still on Instagram?

Since Instagram isn’t a huge fan of Delphine’s unique formula, it’s no longer possible to keep up with her there. There are, however, plenty of fan accounts filled with pictures of Delphine from the last few years, but none of the fan accounts on Instagram actually belong to her. The most-followed Delphine fan account on Instagram currently has over 736,000 followers, but its most recent post was uploaded in February of 2021. That’s almost a year without fresh content, even on her fan accounts.

Belle Delphine on OnlyFans

If you want to keep up with Delphine, your best bet would be subscribing to her OnlyFans account. On OnlyFans, she’s been seen there as recently as Dec. 22, 2021. Her bio on the account introduces her as “Belle” and welcomes fans to “my lewd (18+), cute, and weird lil’ world… this is where you’ll find 4000+ NSFW photos and 600 videos (including my porn) straight away, that won’t be found anywhere else! I am so excited to share this silly, vulnerable, and magical journey with you.“

It costs $35 per month to subscribe to Delphine’s OnlyFans. Based on the teaser image at the top of her profile, many fans will find the price well worth it, as it seems she’s truly baring it all.

What was Belle Delphine‘s childhood like?

Delphine was born in Oct. 1999, making her 22 years old this year. Her mother gave birth to her in South Africa and she grew up in Cape Town with devout Christian parents.

When her parents split up, Delphine moved with her mother to England, where they settled down in Lymington, Hampshire. As a youngster, Delphine loved watching YouTube personas and parody videos, all of which likely inspired her to develop her online persona. She attended Priestland School until the age of 14, when she chose to drop out after dealing with cruel cyberbullies online. Her classmates poked fun at her based on the dark humor jokes she posted on the internet, and the torment caused her to feel totally isolated on campus.

Delphine ultimately had to be treated for depression due to the circumstances she was facing at school. Before taking on her cosplay-loving, super flirty online persona, Delphine made ends meet working as a barista, babysitter, and waitress.

Is Belle Delphine still on YouTube?

We know Instagram wasn’t necessarily happy with Delphine’s online behavior, but is she still an avid user on YouTube? She launched her YouTube account in 2016 with a simple makeup tutorial. Most of her old content no longer exists on her channel. In fact, very few videos remain on her YouTube page, which, as of now, only contains three short ones, the most recent of which was posted 10 months ago.

One of the videos is an announcement to her fans letting everyone know that she is “back” on the internet. The next is an announcement to her fans that she would soon begin posting true pornography to her OnlyFans account. The video includes footage of her twerking on a bed while wearing fishnet stockings, kissing another girl, and trying on outfits comparable to lingerie. In the third video, she gives a tour of her sex toy collection, which is filled with whips, shackles, paddles, and more. She currently has over 2.09 million followers on her YouTube channel.

Is Belle Delphine still on Twitter?

Delphine is still on Twitter, but hasn’t been active in a very long time. Her last tweet went up in February of 2021. She has over 1.5 million followers on the social media app, where she playfully reveals, via her bio, that she likes to pretend to be a cat. A lot of the content posted to her Twitter account features her wearing different colored wigs, varying from pink to blue to green. In very rare instances, you may even catch a glimpse of her naturally dark hair.

Is Belle Delphine still on TikTok?

Unfortunately for TikTokers who hope to see Delphine on the popular video sharing app, she was banned from TikTok sometime in 2020. The reasons for her account’s removal are unknown, but it’s most likely because she violated one of the community guidelines. TikTok is supposed to be a kid-friendly app, and since a lot of her content isn’t considered kid-friendly, it makes sense that she is no longer allowed on the platform.

Watch: 30-piece orchestra plays ‘Kyle’s Mom’ from ‘South Park’

x

YouTube channel South Park Studios recently uploaded an orchestral rendition of “Kyle’s Mom” — the offensive and derogatory song that Eric Cartman sings about the animated show’s polarizing Sheila Broflowski. In the 45-second-long video snippet shared online, a 30-piece orchestra performs “Kyle’s Mom” with immaculate orchestration. The performance is certain to get the nostalgia feels resurfacing, especially for ’90s kids.

South Park debuted on August 13, 1997, and the American sitcom has broadcast 311 episodes (including television films) in its long run — with more to come next season. From its start, South Park gained notoriety for its profanity and dark, surreal humor.

“Kyle’s Mom” was first heard in season 1, episode 9, titled for an infamous character in the series: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo. Additionally, the song appeared in the 1999 feature film, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.

In the Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo episode, Eric Cartman was upset with Kyle’s mom for ruining Christmas, and the song’s introduction underscored that sentiment.

In South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Cartman was angry that Sheila had started a war against Canada and was planning to have mediocre Canadian comedians Terrance and Phillip executed. This time, the song contained much more bad language, including the use of the word “fuck,” and a verse of the song being sung by children from around the world in different languages.

Interestingly, the original song uses the word “bitch” 56 times, not counting the French, Swahili, Dutch, or Chinese portions of the song, and only lasts approximately 71 seconds.

South Park released two video games, South Park: The Stick of Truth and South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and an instrumental version of the song plays when fighting Sheila in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

In the meantime, prepare for the 25th season of South Park, premiering Feb. 2 on Comedy Central, and expect show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker to add to their lore.
