The cover for Deadpool VS Gambit #1 takes a not so subtle approach at mocking the title of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the preview below, Deadpool and Gambit run into one another at a popular coffee shop of all places and start to reminisce about the last time they encountered one another, which somehow also involved 'Daredevil' and 'Spider-Man'.
On second look, it actually appears to be Gambit in a Daredevil costume and Deadpool dressed as Spider-Man. Spidey's lack of spider-sense is practically a dead giveaway that's an impostor. Perhaps they both planned to rob the same museum while impersonating a superhero?
As for the tagline, it sparks to mind, Zack Snyder's reasoning for using 'V' instead of 'VS' in the title of Batman v Superman.
