Well, the cat’s finally out of the bag as the closing moments of tonight’s episode saw Barbara (Amy Smart) inadvertently discover what Pat (Luke Wilson) and Courtney (Brec Bassinger) have been up to these past few weeks and it doesn’t look like her reaction is going to be all that calm when she immediately tries to move the family out of Blue Valley.
Elsewhere, the young Justice Society of America will be heading out on their most dangerous mission to date when they go investigate the tunnel system underneath the city, which looks to land them right smack dab in the middle of the Dragon King’s (Nelson Lee) lair.
“Brainwave Jr.” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
LET ME START AT THE BEGINNING – As Henry Jr. (Jake Austin Walker) hones his newfound skills, uncovered secrets from his family’s past force him to make a difficult decision. Meanwhile, Courtney (Brec Bassinger), Yolanda (Yvette Monreal), Beth (Anjelika Washington) and Rick’s (Cameron Gellman) latest plan brings them face to face with a member of the ISA. Finally, tensions between Pat (Luke Wilson) and Barbara (Amy Smart) force her to revisit her own past. Trae Romano, Meg DeLacy, Christopher James Baker and Neil Jackson also star. Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by James Dale Robinson (#110). Original airdate 7/21/2020.

The new DC UNIVERSE drama series DC’s STARGIRL follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series that focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion.

While Doom Patrol is still in the midst of its second season, having aired five episodes thus far, it looks like we may not get proper closure on the season this year due to the global production shut down caused by the still ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Newcomer Abigail Shapiro, who plays Dorothy Spinner on the series, revealed to Insider that they were unable to complete filming prior to the shutdown and she believes the planned season finale has now been scrapped, meaning this season will end with episode nine on August 6.
“It was basically all finished. There was going to be one more episode and we only had a couple of scenes left, but we never got to finish that episode. So, I don’t know if that episode is ever going to air or anything. I don’t know much about what’s happening.“
Considering how much work has already been done and, not to mention the massive cliffhanger that ends episode nine, it seems highly unlikely that the episode will never air. The more likely scenario, if they’re unable to resume filming before the end of the summer, is that it will be saved to serve as a potential season three premiere. That is, of course, if the series is indeed renewed for a third season by the DC Universe or HBO Max.
DC’s strangest group of heroes — Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) — are back again to save the world. That is, if they can find a way to grow up…both figuratively and literally. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.

Jen and Sylvia Soska, who recently helmed a remake of David Cronenberg’s 1977 classic Rabid, have signed on to write, direct and produce Unseen, which is based on the audio-only mobile adventure game BlindSide.
Radar Pictures recently secured the film rights to the horror adventure game, which has become very popular with both blind and sighted users. The film adaptation will focus on a Boston couple who wake up blind in a terrifying world they cannot recognize. As they claw their way through this terrifying new reality, they fear their sanity slipping away. They sense the presence of a strange new species, one for which light is not a priority.
“Unseen is a horror film experience completely unlike any other before it. This film will truly bring the fear of the unknown to life by putting the focus of storytelling on what you hear,” the Soska sisters said in a statement.
Unseen will be Executive Produced by Radar’s Ted Field, whose credits include Jumanji, Amityville Horror, The Last Samurai and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The filmmakers, who have been dubbed “The Twisted Sisters,” are arguably best known for their 2012 shocker American Mary. Since then, they’ve helmed See No Evil 2, Vendetta, and contributed to ABCs of Death 2.

Due to a well-publicised troubled production (not to mention a last-minute marketing campaign), Solo: A Star Wars Story underperformed when it was released, and led to Disney deciding to take a totally different approach to future Star Wars movies. Further spinoff plans were scrapped, and Lucasfilm instead started focusing on the small screen stories.
Despite all that behind the scenes drama, there was a lot to love about Solo, including Alden Ehrenreich’s memorable performance as the titular character.
During an interview with Esquire, the actor was asked about his decision to take a break from the public eye following the film’s release.
“[It] was basically a three-year experience from pre-production to the release of the movie,” he explains. “And I just wanted to be a person, connect with people in my life, spend time and develop as a person outside of those worlds. And then you never know.”
As for his Star Wars future, Ehrenreich adds: “It depends on what it is. It depends on how it’s done. It depends if it feels innate to the story.” Admitting that he hasn’t even seen The Rise of Skywalker, the actor was asked about The Mandalorian, to which he responded: “No, I don’t know anything about that. I mean, you know, I think our movie was kind of the last of the conventional-era Star Wars movie release time.”
While it may sound like he’s closed the door on reprising the role, Ehrenreich dropped one final tease about a possible return as the iconic smuggler, saying: “I’ve heard soooome stuff, but nothing concrete.”
Time will tell what that ends up being.

Time will tell whether Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on October 2nd as planned, but it’s been confirmed today that a tie-in comic book will be coming our way in September, and will initially available exclusively at Walmart.
The 32-page one-shot is described as a “companion” to Patty Jenkins’ sequel, and is co-written by the movie’s associate producer Anna Obropta and comic book scribe Louise Simonson. Bret Blevins will provide the artwork, and a first look can be seen below.
As for what we can expect from this tie-in, the official description reveals that, “When a failed burglary attempt causes a hostage situation at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Diana Prince is forced to leave her teenage tour group behind so that Wonder Woman can save the day!” It concludes by asking, “But will she be able to bring 10 gunmen to justice and get back to her tour group in time?”
The comic will also include a second story with an 80s-set tale by writer Steve Pugh and artist Marguerite Sauvage. “In the ’80s, ‘greed is good, especially if you have it all!” DC teases. “A reckless mastermind has made the ultimate power move by stealing Wonder Woman’s golden Lasso of Truth, and it’s up to Diana and Steve Trevor to get it back before the worst happens!”
The comic’s cover boasts artwork by Nicola Scott, and while it’s unlikely that this will have too much of a bearing on what we see on the big screen this October, it should at least give fans a taste of what to expect from Wonder Woman 1984.
Will you guys be picking this one up?

Game of Thrones is finally getting the full 4K treatment.
After deciding against releasing the full series on 4K Ultra HD last winter, instead opting for a Blu-ray only release that was packed to the brim with special features, HBO Home Entertainment has officially announced plans to release Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection for the first time ever on 4K Ultra HD.
The Complete Collection will be available on November 3, both physically and digitally. It’s currently available to pre-order for $209.99 from both Amazon and Best Buy and, for diehard fans, will also be available as a limited edition Best Buy-exclusive Steelbook for $239.99.
Currently, only the first and eighth seasons are available to own in 4K Ultra HD, so this will be the grand debut of seasons two through seven on the premium format, meaning some of the most acclaimed episodes – including “Battle of the Bastards;” “The Rains of Castamere;” “Hardhome;” and more – of the worldwide phenomenon will be viewable in the highest home video quality imaginable.
As for special features, it’s expected to contain everything that was included on the Complete Series Blu-ray set that was released last December. Full details can be found below.
