This Sunday’s episode of Supergirl will shift the focus to Dreamer (Nicole Maines), who will take center stage after her roommate (Roxy Wood) falls victim to a vicious hate crime by a man that wants Nia to give up being a superhero just because she’s transgender.
While she and Kara (Melissa Benoist) deal with that, Alex (Chyler Leigh), J’onn (David Harewood) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) team-up to rescue a man stuck inside a virtual reality escape room, which proves to be a lot easier said than done.
“Reality Bytes” – (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)
DREAMER STEPS UP TO PROTECT HER COMMUNITY AFTER HER ROOMMATE IS VICIOUSLY ATTACKED – Nia’s (Nicole Maines) roommate, Yvette (guest star Roxy Wood), is attacked by a man targeting Dreamer because he doesn’t like that Dreamer is transgender and wants her to quit being a superhero. Determined to protect her community from additional harm, Dreamer refuses to give into his threats and puts herself in the line of fire to stop him. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands by Dreamer and enlists additional help from Brainy (Jesse Rath). Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh), J’onn (David Harewood) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) attempt to rescue a man stuck inside a virtual reality escape room. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Jay Faerber (#515). Original airdate 3/15/2020.

Season four showed that truth, justice and the American way are stronger than fear and hate, as Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stopped Lex Luthor’s anti-alien campaign with the power of the press, no cape required. As the world returns to normal, some things will never be the same now that Lena (Kate McGrath) knows Kara’s secret and the Monitor has arrived on Earth 38! Watch, like Leviathan, as new dynamics and relationships unfold for Supergirl and her friends and colleagues as their adventures continue in season five!

With growing concerns surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus, Disney has now confirmed that Mulan has been postponed. The live-action adaptation of the classic animated feature was set to arrive in theaters on March 27th, but the studio is now looking to secure a release date later in 2020.
That’s not the only upcoming movie which has been impacted by the pandemic, though, as The New Mutants and the Guillermo Del Toro-produced Antlers are also no longer being released.
There’s no word on what will become of them, but the former seems like a good fit for Disney+.
The hit on the global box office could be as much as $10 billion this year thanks to the coronavirus, and the trade notes that Black Widow is still scheduled for May 1st. That could, however, change in the coming weeks depending on what happens (many states are enforcing bans on groups of more than 250 – 500 people gathering together in a bid to stop the virus spreading any further).
As of right now, it looks like we’re in for a quiet couple of months in theaters, and it’s added that, “there’s growing concern that some cinemas could go dark in areas where cases of COVID-19 are proliferating, or where business has slowed.” What the Coronavirus means for films currently shooting is hard to say, but at this rate, 2020 movies could arrive in 2021 instead of later this year!
The most important thing is that people stay healthy, of course, but this is bound to come as a crushing blow to those looking forward to the likes of Mulan and The New Mutants.
We’ll keep you guys updated as we learn more.

As the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to result in event cancellations and film release date delays, Disneyland has announced that its California theme park will close starting March 14 through the end of the month
Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open until March 16 so guests can make necessary travel accommodations.
This is only the fourth time in history that this park has fully suspended operations. The other instances were the Sept. 11 attacks, the morning after JFK’s assassination and the Northridge earthquake. It’s unclear if Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., will remain open.
“While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at Disneyland Resort, after carefully reviewing the guidelines of the Governor of California’s executive order and in the best interest of our guests and employees, we are proceeding with the closure of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, beginning the morning of March 14 through the end of the month.
The Hotels of Disneyland Resort will remain open until Monday, March 16 to give guests the ability to make necessary travel arrangements; Downtown Disney will remain open. We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies. Disney will continue to pay cast members during this time.
UPDATE: Disneyland has now announced that it was also close temporarily its parks in Florida and Paris:
In an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our guests and employees, we are proceeding with the closure of our theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Paris Resort, beginning at the close of business on Sunday, March 15, through the end of the month.

Winston Duke’s M’Baku stole the show in Black Panther, but had only very minor roles in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. In the latter, we saw very little of him in that final battle with Thanos, and the actor has now confirmed that much of his work ended up being cut by Marvel Studios.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Duke was asked about whether he shot with the rest of the cast or alone in front of a green screen.
As for why he believes it ended being cut, Duke noted that he completely understands why that was the case. “Marvel knows what they’re doing, and it all leads to the best product. So, I am happy; I was just very disappointed that nobody got to see all the stuff I was doing.”
It’s certainly going to be interesting seeing where this character goes next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and you have to hope Marvel Studios one day releases those deleted scenes.
What do you guys hope the future holds in store for M’Baku?
