We were told you expect something from the upcoming Injustice 2 video game today, and it turned out to be the incredible story trailer below.

The trailer gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game's plot, while also providing glimpses of some new characters such as Poison Ivy, Darkseid, Bane, and what appears to be Tim Drake/Robin. Plus, we get an exciting tease of a four-way scrap between Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl.

The Lines Have Been Redrawn. The line between hero and villain has become blurred as the most epic battle in the DC universe rages on in Injustice 2. While Batman has emerged the victor in his battle against the Regime, a new threat arises and poses the ultimate threat to Earth.

Injustice 2 will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning on the 19th of May 2017.
