Avengers: Endgame sent Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on a trip through time, but they needed to don some extremely unique costumes to do so (thanks to the combination of Stark and Pym tech). What ended up on screen was undeniably cool, but could they have been even cooler? 

If this newly revealed concept art from Marvel Studios artist Aleksi Briclot is any indication, yes! 

“Concept art for Nebula with the time travel suit in Avengers: Endgame,” he explains in his Instagram post. “With a try with more red and also some force field.” It’s a similar, but radically different design, and one which might have changed the feel of the team’s history-spanning adventure.

What ended up on screen was still somewhat iconic, however, but they were likely a one and done for the MCU. It is still possible that a future story will also travel through time, though!

Very little has been revealed about The Suicide Squad beyond a couple of logos and the cast list, but some major new details, and possibly even footage, are expected to be released during DC’s FanDome. Pro wrestler John Cena has left WWE to break into Hollywood, and while previous performances has been met with mixed reviews, director James Gunn is clearly a fan.

Responding to a fan on Twitter who had listed a number of DC Comics characters they believe Cena should play, Gunn explained, “A little late for the suggestions considering we finished filming in February, but thanks nonetheless & you’re gonna freak out on how amazing John Cena is in The Suicide Squad as the character he does play…”

It’s been rumored that Cena is playing Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad, and as Gunn managed to make a star out of Dave Bautista in Guardians of the Galaxy, he can likely do the same with Cena.

The cast of The Suicide Squad also includes Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Idris Elba, and Michael Rooker.

Could Marvel be planning to introduce Daredevil character Echo to one of the upcoming Disney+ shows? If details from a new casting call are accurate, there aren’t many other previously established Marvel Comics characters that fit the bill!

According to Murphy’s Multiverse, frequent Marvel Studios casting director Sarah Finn is currently searching for a “deaf female, Native American, First Nations, Indigenous or Latinx, 18 or older” actress to play an “independent, athletic and bright” 20-something character in a Disney+ series.

The name on the casting sheet is “Malia,” but this description sounds a lot like Daredevil supporting character Maya Lopez, aka Echo.

Created by David Mack and Joe Quesada in the late ’90s, Echo was first introduced as an adversary for The Man Without Fear before switching allegiances and reinventing herself as a hero. She reemerged in 2005 and took up the mantle of Ronin for Brian Michael Bendis’ New Avengers run, before going on to befriend and work alongside the likes of Wolverine and Moon Knight.

Assuming this is Echo, which series could she appear in? Hawkeye is one possibility given their shared association with the Ronin mantle, but our money is on Moon Knight. That show is hasn’t officially entered production yet (as far as we know), but it would make more sense for Lopez to be introduced as a love interest/eventual foe for Marc Spector given their history in the comics.

We recently gout our first glimpse of some footage from Bill & Ted Face the Music courtesy of a brief, but very effective teaser trailer, and now we have a new look at titular duo Ted “Theodore” Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) on the cover of a new tie-in book.

Bill & Ted’s Most Excellent Movie Book: The Official Companion is set to hit stores this August, and is now available to pre-order on Amazon. The hardcover book will serve as a companion to all three movies and features hundreds of photographs, script excerpts and quotes. A must-have for fans of this bodacious trilogy.
