It’s been a while since we saw him last, but Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) is finally back in Central City and it sounds like he has an urgent message for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) regarding the Speed Force, which has seemingly reached a point of no return when the show returns on March 10th.
It remains to be seen what exactly is going on, but the promo does possibly reveal that Barry – and presumably his actions during Crisis – may have played a part in turning everything on its head.
“Death of the Speed Force” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)
WALLY WEST SPEEDS BACK INTO CENTRAL CITY – Kid Flash (guest star Keiynan Lonsdale) returns to Central City with a Zen attitude and new tricks up his sleeve. While thrilled to see his family again, Wally confides to Barry (Grant Gustin) that he returned because he thinks there is something wrong with the speed force. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) returns from his fact-finding mission across Earth-Prime. Brent Crowell directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Emily Palizzi Gilbert (#614). Original airdate 3/10/2020.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?
The Flash returns with an all-new episode on March 10

Next week’s penultimate episode of Black Lightning season three promises to be a big one as Jefferson (Cress Williams) and the Pierce family find themselves fighting for their lives and for Freeland with the threat of Gravedigger (Wayne Brady) and the Markovians increasing by the minute.
The promo previews a fight between Jennifer (China Anna McClain) and Gravedigger, which is going to leave Jefferson sweating and possibly set up a final showdown between him and the villain in the following week’s season finale.
“The Book of War: Chapter Two” – (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)
THE PIERCE FAMILY PREPARES FOR WAR – After learning that Gravedigger (guest star Wayne Brady) and the Markovians are coming to attack Freeland, the Pierce family prepares for war. Cress Williams, Nafessa Williams, China Anne McClain, Christine Adams, James Remar, Damon Gupton, Marvin Jones III and Jordan Calloway also star. Oz Scott directed the episode written by Pat Charles (#315). Original airdate 3/2/2020.

Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) is a man wrestling with a secret. As the father of two daughters and principal of a charter high school that also serves as a safe haven for young people in a New Orleans neighborhood overrun by gang violence, he is a hero to his community. Nine years ago, Pierce was a hero of a different sort. Gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, he used those powers to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning. However, after too many nights with his life on the line, and seeing the effects of the damage and loss that his alter ego was inflicting on his family, he left his Super Hero days behind and settled into being a principal and a dad. Choosing to help his city without using his superpowers, he watched his daughters Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain) grow into strong young women, even though his marriage to their mother, Lynn (Christine Adams), suffered. Almost a decade later, Pierce’s crime-fighting days are long behind him…or so he thought. But with crime and corruption spreading like wildfire, and those he cares about in the crosshairs of the menacing local gang The One Hundred, Black Lightning returns — to save not only his family, but also the soul of his community.

While plot details have mostly been kept under wraps, the new featurette does shed a few interesting details on what to expect, including that the film’s mysterious new villain Safin (Rami Malek) will be the most dangerous adversary Bond has ever faced. It also sounds like he won’t have any ties to Spectre, which is interesting to say the least, as he’ll be operating with his own separate organization to take down Bond and company.
In addition to Craig (Casino Royale; Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre), the film will also return Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), Jeffrey Wright (Felix) and Christoph Waltz (Blofeld). Newcomers to the franchise will include Academy Award-winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), Golden Globe-nominee Ana de Armas (Knives Out), Billy Magnussen (Game Night), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Dali Benssalah (Flash) and David Dencik (Quicksand).
Cary Joji Fukunaga (Maniac; True Detective) is directing with a screenplay he wrote with contributions from Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Multiple reports are coming in that Bob Iger has decided to step down as CEO of Disney. He’ll be replaced by Bob Chapek, but will remain on as executive chairman until his contract’s end on Dec. 31, 2021.
Iger has been CEO of Disney since 2005, and has presided over a period of dramatic expansion for the company. He oversaw the acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Fox, and In 2019 alone the company had seven blockbusters hit the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office under his watch.
“With the successful launch of Disney’s direct-to-consumer businesses and the integration of Twenty-First Century Fox well underway, I believe this is the optimal time to transition to a new CEO,” said Iger in a statement. ” I have the utmost confidence in Bob and look forward to working closely with him over the next 22 months as he assumes this new role and delves deeper into Disney’s multifaceted global businesses and operations, while I continue to focus on the Company’s creative endeavors.”
Chapek has been with the company since 1993, and has been chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products since 2018. During today’s conference call with Wall Street analysts, Iger revealed that the Disney board had “identified Chapek as his potential successor quite some time ago.”
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to assume the role of CEO of what I truly believe is the greatest company in the world, and to lead our exceptionally talented and dedicated cast members and employees,” Chapek said. “Bob Iger has built Disney into the most admired and successful media and entertainment company, and I have been lucky to enjoy a front-row seat as a member of his leadership team.”
It remains to be seen what, if any, impact this change will have on Disney’s future creative decisions. Whatever happens, and regardless of whether you happen to love or hate Disney, there’s no denying that Iger steered the company to unprecedented success.

Check out the images below, and let us know if you would have preferred any of these looks to the ones we saw in the movie.

After Vinnie Jones’ laughable incarnation of Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand, the huge CGI version that popped up for a surprise cameo in Deadpool 2 (voiced and mo-cap performed by Ryan Reynolds) was a breath of fresh air.
That version was fairly comic-accurate, but it turns out he almost donned armor and a costume that would have bore an even closer resemblance to the source material’s take on Juggy.

This is pretty much identical to the version that appeared in the movie, and was likely one of Domachowski’s final character designs.

Slightly different color scheme here, and it looks like the mutant detention center was originally going to take even more precautions to ensure Juggernaut couldn’t escape.

As we know, Brad Pitt was the studio’s first choice for Cable, and this design reflects that.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor would go on to have a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it role (literally) in the movie as ill-fated X-Force member, Vanisher.

This is a lot closer to Cable’s final look, although the facial features clearly weren’t designed with Josh Brolin in mind.

Omega Red didn’t actually make the final cut of the movie, but NFL player Dakoda Shepley did suit-up as the Russian mutant in a deleted scene.
This unused design was a lot closer to the character’s comic-look, however.

Janelle Monáe was reportedly in line for the role of Domino before Zazie Beetz was cast, and these final two designs would seem to confirm it.

These early Domino designs clearly envisioned the character in far more revealing costumes than the one Beetz ended up donning on screen.

According to multiple sources, Paramount Pictures has decided to halt production in Venice, Italy on Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise’s upcoming action sequel Mission: Impossible 7 due to the country’s recent Coronavirus outbreak.
Italy currently has a reported 219 cases, which is the largest number of incidents outside of China, Japan and South Korea. As a precaution, the local government has stopped all public gatherings, including the aforementioned three-week Mission: Impossible shoot.
No cast members had arrived in Venice just yet, but crew members had already begun prepping for the shoot. They are now being immediately flown out of the country, either back home to their respective countries or possibly to another shooting location until the situation becomes more clear in Italy.
Following the news, Paramount issued the following statement, “Out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of our cast and crew, and efforts of the local Venetian government to halt public gatherings in response to the threat of coronavirus, we are altering the production plan for our three week shoot in Venice, the scheduled first leg of an extensive production for Mission: Impossible 7. During this hiatus we want to be mindful of the concerns of the crew and are allowing them to return home until production starts. We will continue to monitor this situation, and work alongside health and government officials as it evolves.“
The cast is headlined by Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick) as Ethan Hunt, as well as fellow returning star Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), who is set to reprise her role as Ilsa Faust alongside franchise newcomers Hayley Atwell (Avengers: Endgame), Pom Klementieff (Avengers: Endgame), Shea Whigham (Joker) and Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Dark Phoenix). Henry Czerny (Sharp Objects) was also recently confirmed to reprise his role as Eugene Kittridge from the first film.
No word yet on who will actually make up Ethan Hunt’s team for his seventh and eighth adventures, but it’s more probable than not that some combination of Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell), Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn), Jeremy Renner (William Brandt), Angela Bassett (Erica Sloane), Vanessa Kirby (White Widow), Paula Patton (Jane Carter) and/or Maggie Q (Zhen Lei) will also be back in some capacity.
Both sequels are expected to film back-to-back, with Mission: Imposssible 7 set to light the fuse in theaters on July 23, 2021 while its sequel, Mission: Impossible 8, will open the following summer on August 5, 2022.
